𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐲𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐬  They say it used to be as easy as throwing a dart at the crypto board and walking away with profit.  I agree and it most definitely is a different game now with the sheer number of tokens out there. I’m often asked whether token XYZ is worth investing or continue holding. So I thought I’d share the general checklist I run through. I call this the 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐓 method (Story, Community, Activity, Narrative, Tokenomcs). A simple way I scan and decide my crypto moves.   𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲  What’s its purpose? Understand the token, its use case and what it’s trying to solve. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲  In crypto, a strong and engaged community can be the difference between a token that thrives and one that dies. That’s why memecoin narrative will always exist. The psychology of human connection and identity are powerful forces.  𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲  Where is the project at? Are they building, upgrading, marketing? A project that’s alive and kicking is a good sign. Radio silence is a red flag.  𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞  Identify what core narrative it fits into. Utiility, AI, tokenisation, gaming, RWA, etc.   𝐓𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐬  Tokenomics is just the supply and demand behind the price. Good tokenomics = capped supply, fair release schedules and real demand. Bad tokenomics = constant dilution, insider unlocks and no reason to hold long term. Example:  If only 10%-20% of the supply is circulating and the rest unlocks over time, it creates steady sell pressure.  If insiders or early investors hold 60%+ and those tokens are about to unlock, you’re likely the exit liquidity. The 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐓 method is something I’ve personally formulated. Not every token will tick each box and context always matters.
