Gold, silver, and cash are doing their job. This uncertainty is also weighing on the U.S. dollar. A moment to pause is needed. ▪️ 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚 (𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙭𝙩) Markets are reacting to renewed geopolitical tension and tariff threats from Donald Trump, linked to 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙 and potential 𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙨 affecting 𝙀𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙣 nations. The CBOE Volatility Index has moved higher, but remains well below last year’s extremes. This is a repricing of risk, not a breakdown in fundamentals. ▪️ 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 Most assets are down today. One clear exception is gold and silver, acting as the safety trade.
