"One swallow does not make a summer." Yesterday's strong rebound in the technology sector, by itself, is not enough to declare the beginning of a new bullish phase. It would be a mistake to interpret a single trading session as a definitive shift in market conditions. That said, it does send an important signal. Markets continue to operate in an environment dominated by uncertainty. Inflation, monetary policy, geopolitical tensions, and energy prices continue to weigh on valuations while keeping volatility elevated. Yet, when we look at the data rather than emotions, a different picture emerges. The latest earnings season has once again confirmed that, in most cases, companies remain fundamentally strong, profitable, and capable of delivering continued growth despite an exceptionally challenging macroeconomic environment. This suggests that, beyond the day-to-day market noise, corporate fundamentals remain broadly resilient. It is precisely this disconnect between the intrinsic value demonstrated by companies and current market sentiment that makes the present environment particularly interesting. Markets appear to be waiting for a catalyst. A meaningful improvement in the geopolitical landscape, further stabilization of inflation, or a more favorable energy outlook could help ease the pressure currently weighing on valuations. Of course, no one knows when that catalyst will arrive. For this reason, the strategy is not built on predictions, but on disciplined risk management and clearly defined investment rules. Periods of heightened uncertainty are precisely when discipline becomes even more valuable. We therefore continue to stay the course, without being carried away by the optimism of strong market days or the pessimism of weaker ones. Market sentiment changes constantly, but a well-designed investment strategy should remain consistent with its principles. Kind regards.
