Reflections on the Theme of Silver Along with setting new all-time highs in nominal terms, $SILVER has also broken another psychological barrier by pushing through a 45-year trendline in its ratio to CPI. It is now trading at “only an 80% discount” from its historical peak. Meanwhile, the physical market has been in a massive deficit for five consecutive years, mine supply is declining, and demand continues to rise.
