𝗛𝗲𝘆 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 🌱 To briefly summarize what I’ve been up to this week; portfolio down -1.1%, ending August +5.9%, and +25% YTD. 𝗕𝘂𝘆𝘀 💰 None. 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 💸 $NIO (Nio Inc.-ADR) 🚗 - Take Profit kicked in a $6.96. Sold a third of our shares after its aggressive run in price (doubling since June). Looking to re-buy shares back cheaper. $PRY.MI (Prysmian Group) 🧶 $ABBN.ZU (ABB LTD) ⚡️ $NDX1.DE (Nordex) 💨 Again Take Profits/Trailing Stops triggered on all these names, trimming a portion of our holdings in each for between +22% and +80%. Still like these companies, but looking to have a little more cash available in the portfolio, currently 8.7%. 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 👀 With US rate cuts firmly in play from mid September, coupled with typical weak seasonality for markets, it will be interesting to see which direction markets take from ATHs. Not rushing into any buys at present, although still following commodities stocks (copper and lithium) closely. Keeping this brief to encourage it to become a more regular posting style.
