𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠! 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭? Hello everyone, Earnings and Champions League today, not bad for Wednesday!;) So we are at that time of the year again! All the big tech companies are reporting their earnings. It's always an exciting time to see how they are doing. This year (feels like repeating the story), it's all about AI. They are spending so much money on it, and now we will see if it's paying off. 𝐈'𝐦 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬, 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞? For me, I am personally waiting for 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 the most. I have a few reasons for this. First, their new AI model, Gemini, seems very powerful. It's already beating others in tests for things like math and coding. And now, Apple is going to use Gemini for Siri on the iPhone. This is a very big deal and shows that Google's AI is really good. Also, Google is making its own chips for AI, called TPUs which means they don't have to buy as many from other companies like Nvidia. This can save them a lot of money and gives them more control. They are spending a lot on AI, but it looks like they actually have a good plan. The stock has been doing very well, and many people are starting to believe in their AI strategy. But of course...Google is not the only one to watch! 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭 is spending a lot on data centers for their cloud business, Azure. They need to show that they can still make good money while spending so much. 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚 is also spending a lot on AI, but it's not so clear how they will make money from it (if you know please explain that to me). Their main business is still advertising. It will be interesting to see what they say about their plans. 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐨𝐧 is the biggest in cloud with AWS, but they are getting more competition. They made a big deal with OpenAI, the company that made ChatGPT. We will see how this helps them. 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞 is a little behind in AI, but the deal with Google for Siri is a big step. People are also excited about the new iPhone (again), so we will see if that helps them sell more. 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐥𝐚 is not just a car company. They are also working on robots and their own AI with Elon Musk's other company, xAI. Their energy business is also growing. So, there is a lot to look forward to! What do you think?
