𝗚𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 🚀 For a while now, space stocks are popular. Couple years ago we saw the huge rise in $SPCE (Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc) . But lately there are more players that saw strong stock price increases. Think about $RKLB (Rocket Lab Corp) and $PL (Planet Labs PBC) Now there is one stock, that did the opposite. But it has now become oversold and very attractive. This one is $IRDM (Iridium Communications Inc) A company that has been there for a while now. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗼 They operate the mobile voice and data sattelite communications network that spans the entire globe. They enable connections between people, organisations and assets to and from anywhere in real time. 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 Last year the price has declined significantly. More than 38%. This is because of the fear of other players like $ASTS (AST SpaceMobile Inc) and $GSAT (Globalstar) taking market share. But also because of operational setbacks. 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 Two key updates are worth noting: 1. Partnership with Deutsche Telekom They’re teaming up to provide global 5G NB-IoT connectivity through Iridium’s NTN DirectSM service — allowing Deutsche Telekom customers to access satellite-based links worldwide. 2. Contract with the U.S. Department of Defense A major validation of their capabilities and a strong addition to their revenue base. 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗱 & 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗱 The stock is currently in oversold territory with an RSI around 26. Last week’s broader market weakness pushed it even lower — which looks like an overreaction. Beyond technicals, the financials also suggest undervaluation. Combine that with recent deals, and the current price seems like a strong entry point.
