Oil starts to move. Is the Energy Minerals Sector entering a new bullish trend? Over the past year, the $OIL $EUROOIL market has been unusually quiet and I like to look at the sleeping assets. The price has been tightening into a narrow range, and despite all the global uncertainty, it has barely moved for twelve months. I see this as a rare opportunity to load up. When a market behaves like this for so long, it often signals that a significant breakout is building beneath the surface. I mentioned this three months ago that the long‑term outlook points towards the possibility of a major move to the upside over this and next year. Refer to this post for more insight 👉🏻etoro.tw/402Jzau Right now the price is hovering just below the upper boundary of the falling vedge highlighted in this previous post. I’ve rotated my available capital into several oil and gas producers and increased the allocation to 14%. These companies tend to benefit the most when the underlying commodity finally breaks out of a prolonged consolidation. I’m positioning early and letting time work in our favor. In case of a drop or a pullback in the sector, I will increase the exposure. Looking at 20% allocation in Q1. Some big names are already moving up strong. I missed a perfect buying opportunity in $CVX.US (Chevron) but at least I managed to enter $XOM (Exxon-Mobil) at the right moment, with an average price of 117.70. Since then, it has been moving steadily higher and printing new all‑time highs. The smaller‑cap names in the sector have also started to trend upward in recent days, and they will likely follow gaining momentum. This is not about chasing short‑term noise. It’s about recognizing a tightening price structure, understanding the broader energy landscape, and preparing for what could be a strong multi‑year trend. You can find this portfolio among the most copied by the energy sector. Maybe is overexposed or is it overlooked opportunity?
