Buy low, sell high. We heard this expression so many times. And if you think about it, when it comes to investing it is practically the only way to make money.
The problem is that deciding what is low is not that straightforward.
Letโs say you buy a stock at 12$ and it goes down to 10$ was it low at 12?
โ๏ธYes, if you consider its fair value to be 15$.
It could have gone up straight towards 15 without a fall, and if you were waiting to buy lower you would have missed out.
