Holding Through the Red A year ago, I wouldn’t have imagined being down over 23% on the portfolio and more than 40% on my largest XRP position. Yet this is exactly where investing gets real. Anyone can stay confident when prices rise. The real test is what happens when your convictions are challenged, positions are deeply red, and every chart seems to move against you. My portfolio today reflects a strategic transition: less diversification, more concentration in assets I believe have asymmetric upside over the next cycle. That decision comes with higher volatility and larger drawdowns. The market doesn’t reward comfort. It rewards patience, risk management, and the ability to stay focused on the thesis instead of the daily P&L. I’m not measuring success by where the portfolio stands today. I’m measuring it by whether I continue to execute the strategy I committed to. The question isn’t whether I’m down 23%. The question is whether the reasons I invested have fundamentally changed. For now, my answer is no.
