Dear readers and followers, Another month is over, so let’s recap what’s been happening with my account lately. We received several dividends during June, namely dividends from BAE Systems, Ford, Safran, ZIM, Toyota, IBM, Microsoft, Pfizer, BorgWarner and many more. The biggest income, as usual, came from ZIM, which has a current annual dividend yield of up to 47% according to the eToro calculation. This number is of course subject to change over time, is affected by further approval or disapproval of the quarterly dividend payment, and the current share price also affects the percentage increase in the annual dividend. A quick recap of the global economy from the past month: The global economy showed mixed performance in June. While some areas saw a recovery, others faced challenges. Key indicators included a sharp decline in US retail sales, while the Federal Reserve maintained its current policy stance. The US dollar remained weak and oil prices were affected by ongoing conflicts. Economic data from China offered mixed signals and the Bank of Japan decided to leave its policy unchanged. Global PMI surveys for June will be closely watched to gauge business sentiment amid rising global tensions, particularly in the Middle East, which have pushed up oil prices. Have a great summer!
