No interview or degree requirement. No promotion process or no one asking where you worked or what title sits on your LinkedIn profile. Every day, the market quietly asks only one question: Were your decisions correct? That is what makes investing both brutal and beautiful. In most professions, experience, credentials and status create an advantage. In markets, a 22-year-old with discipline can outperform a fund manager with decades of experience. A retail investor can beat an institution. A simple idea can beat a complex model. The scoreboard doesn't care who you are. It only cares whether your process survives reality. And that's where most people struggle. Not because they lack intelligence. Because they lack emotional control. The ability to stay calm when everyone is euphoric. The ability to stay confident when everyone is fearful. The ability to admit when you're wrong. And the patience to do nothing when doing something feels better. The market is one of the few places where ego gets marked to market every day. That's what makes it brutal. And that's exactly what makes it worth playing. Have a nice rest of the Sunday.
