🚀 THE 5 FORCES BEHIND ANY TREND — AND HOW I SPOT THEM BEFORE MOVING The first time I saw $BTC flying without stopping, I let myself get carried away. Price sky-high, my feed full of “this is just the beginning”… and then, the drop. It wasn’t the price that betrayed me — it was my incomplete analysis. Over time, I learned one thing: every trend is driven (or undermined) by specific forces. If you know them, you can tell instantly whether you’re running on solid ground… or thin ice. ⸻ The first force is market participation. Who’s buying? Short-term traders or long-term institutional capital? When I see whale inflows and low exchange balances, I know there’s committed money in the game. The second is liquidity pressure. Is fresh capital entering, or is the same money just being recycled? Rising open interest with stable funding rates = steady momentum. Soaring funding = short breath and risk of a blow-off. The third is macro alignment. If the trend is moving in the same direction as economic data, the wind is at your back. If the market rallies while interest rates spike, that wind becomes an invisible wall. The fourth is internal structure. A healthy trend builds support levels as it climbs — solid steps, not vertical ramps. Higher highs and higher lows tell a very different story than a chart that looks like a heart monitor. The fifth is where we are in the market cycle. It’s not the same to invest at the start of an expansion phase as it is at the peak of a bubble. Knowing whether we’re in accumulation, growth, euphoria, or distribution changes how I enter, exit, and manage risk. ⸻ 💡 Today, before I move a single dollar, I run through these five forces. Because in markets, it’s not enough to know how far we’re climbing. You need to know who’s pushing, where the push is coming from, whether the wind is favorable, if the steps are holding… and if the cycle is on your side. Price is the picture. The forces behind it are the movie. And I only invest when the movie makes sense. $SPX500 $SPY (SPDR S&P 500 ETF) $MCHI (iShares MSCI China ETF)
