Celsius, ELF and Honest A disaster of a day for the portfolio today. Let’s look beneath the surface and see what actually happened with the quarterly results. $CELH (Celsius Holdings Inc.) Revenue +173% Net income -1053% The numbers look crazy, because of acquisitions and a one-off expense. Now Celsius did NOT deserve to be down 25%. In fact, the stock should’ve been up after earnings. The numbers were good, but people (and algorithm funds) did not understand what really happened. Celsius had a one-time expense of adding Alani products to the Pepsi distribution system. It was $ 243 million, and made Celsius’ profits look absolutely horrible. BUT, in reality, there is no expense for Celsius, because Pepsi will pay the entire $ 243M. Celsius just had to report the expense due to accounting rules. CELH is one of the best investment opportunities right now. Future returns will be phenomenal. $ELF (elf Beauty Inc) Elf on the other hand did deserve to go down. But maybe 5-10%, not 35. That’s just ridiculous. Revenue +14% Earnings -8.9% The tariffs have affected and will continue to affect ELF’s business, margins and profits in the short term. This is no surprise, but still somehow Wall Street ws surprised by it. Now honestly, the numbers were not great. But remember, this is short term. I invest for the long term. On a 35% discount, ELF is definately a buy. The returns over the next 3-4 years will be amazing. $HNST (Honest Co Inc/The) The Honest company fell 30% after it’s earnings came out. Did it deserve to go down? Yes. Did it deserve to fall 30% Absolutely not. Revenue -6.7% Net income +359% The net income looks insane, but for really small profits like this, the percentages aren’t that good of a metric. The company will likely have revenues pretty flat for 2026. After that, growth will return. Honest’s business depends a lot on when big retailers put in orders, and this quarter they didn’t. So the numbers weren’t that great. As simple as that. $SPY (State Street SPDR S&P 500 ETF) $QQQ (Invesco QQQ) $SPX500
