Portfolio Update | July 11, 2026 Good week to close out. The S&P 500 finished Friday +0.42% at 7,575 and the Nasdaq +0.29% capping a strong week driven by renewed AI optimism and earnings season kicking off. AVGO at ~$400, now back above the key $400 level for the first time since the post-earnings selloff in early June. The $30B Apple chip deal announced on July 8 running through 2031 was the catalyst the stock needed. Fundamentals are reasserting themselves. NVDA also had a strong Friday, up around 4% on the week with the NVIDIA shareholder meeting on June 24 confirming Blackwell production ramp. Both chip names finally recovering. NFLX at $73.37, the position that continues to lag. Earnings are due July 16, expected to move ~7.3% on the day. Analysts remain divided with Citi cutting their target to $100, Bernstein also trimming but maintaining Buy, and Jefferies maintaining Buy. The WSJ report on Netflix exploring live TV channels and bundles spooked the market mid-week, down 3% on the news. Q2 earnings next Wednesday are the make-or-break moment for this position. GOOG at ~$357, recovering gradually from the late June lows below $344 but still well off the May all-time high of $402. Ongoing antitrust and AI capex dilution concerns remain the overhang. CVS at ~$104, holding near all-time highs. Q2 earnings August 5, guidance already raised, consensus Buy with average target near $108. Still the standout of the portfolio. Biggest event next week: NFLX earnings July 16. Watching closely.
