Our portfolio was able to between-hold its value, falling just under 1% throughout the month, despite double-digit falls from some of our holdings such as $HPQ (Hewlett Packard) and $SBUX (Starbucks Corp) This comes partly from the resilience of some of our other holdings, and partly from the cash holdings we currently have, which are available to take advatnage of these price drops as the markets fall further. It is likely that these price drops will provide some interesting opportunities for picking up new shares. Today also marks the end of Q1, and we look as if we will close these first 3 months relativley even with the start of the year: a strong result given the overall drops in the market. On top of this, we have not panic-sold any of our holdings, and are well-placed for a market recovery. Take a look at my pinned post to learn more about my investment strategy, which combines value and dividend investing to generate steady income with significant potential for growth! πŸ“ŒπŸ’°πŸ“ˆ ✈✈✈
