𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀, 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗜 Last week reminded me that investing isn't just about numbers on a screen - it's also about people and their dreams of financial freedom. At the first event, I was presenting for eToro's platinum clients at Langelinie Pavillionen. My 8,5-year journey on the platform - from early tech investments to weathering the 2022 storm and 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 $𝟲 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 - has felt worth every moment. The questions from the audience and discussions at the dinner reminded me that behind every investment decision is someone trying to build a better future for themselves and their families. The next day, the Nordic Diamond event at Copenhagen Distillery was different, yet equally valuable. At the event, Or Peled from $ETOR (eToro Group LTD) discussed how the platform has embarked on a fascinating journey, giving its top investors the ability to easily code their own tools with generative AI and share them via an App Store later this year. This is a fantastic idea, and I am joining the investors coding new tools to improve their investing and sharing them with other investors later this year. Also, Shany Hahn Shalom, Gil Shapira, and Lisa Wang delivered excellent presentations and discussions on what's going on in the market and what's to come on eToro. What is happening with AI and investing is certainly worth following, and eToro has just taken a giant leap forward to help private investors level the playing field with professionals. This is a great opportunity for those who dare to experiment and discover how they can utilize these new tools to their advantage. Thanks to the eToro team for organizing both incredible events, and to everyone who shared their stories and insights. Sometimes the best investment education happens over dinner conversations, not spreadsheets. This year, my portfolio has returned 20.3% at the time of writing, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟳 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦&𝗣 𝟱𝟬𝟬. Over the last 8.5 years, my returns have been almost twice as high as those of the S&P 500 (e.g., an average yearly return of 20.7%), and I continue to outperform the benchmark.
