That isn't coincidence; it's the gamma squeeze that's powered the rally since early May meeting its natural ceiling. And from here, I believe there are only two real paths. ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ต ๐—”: ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฏ๐—น๐—ผ๐˜„๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜ ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฝ ๐Ÿš€ If buyers find one more wave and price breaks 7,500 cleanly, the squeeze accelerates. Dealers short the calls above must buy futures to hedge, that buying pushes price higher, which forces more hedging. Self-reinforcing fuel until the next big strike cluster takes over. Vol stays crushed on the way up, then explodes on the way out. This is the dream scenario for late longs and the nightmare for shorts. It's also where the pattern gets dangerous, because blowout tops rarely give people time to exit at the high and leave most people in the dust. ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ต ๐—•: ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—น๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ-๐˜€๐˜๐˜†๐—น๐—ฒ ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—น ๐Ÿช™ Cast your mind back to $SILVER in January 2026. Parabolic move and plenty of FOMO. Then the buyers ran out. Within a week silver lost over 30% of its value, and hasn't recovered since. $GOLD wasn't spared either. For $SPX500 the equivalent risk is a rejection of 7,500, a slide back through 7,460 toward 7,400, and a stress test of the ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—บ๐—ฎ ๐—ณ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฝ around 7,280. Below that, the dealer behaviour that's been cushioning every dip flips into amplifying every drop. That would be a regime change, or a bear market as most people call it. ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฐ๐—ต ๐Ÿ‘€ ๐Ÿ”น A clean, high-volume break of 7,500 with VIX not spiking ๐Ÿ”น Or rejection, with VIX waking up from its 16-handle slumber ๐Ÿ”น The 7,280 gamma flip is the line that matters most. Above it, mechanics are friendly. Below it, they aren't. Both outcomes have happened before from setups that looked just like this. What matters is recognising you're at the inflection point, not in the middle of a trend. My own positioning is to watch the wall and respect its decision. Likely in a few days we'll see a resolution. I don't know which path resolves first, and nobody does. For me, that means staying largely in cash. The portfolio had a nice run past two months and I'd rather preserve equity and have dry powder if Path B materialises. Personal opinion, not advice. ๐Ÿง
