opening and closing copy-trading positions like if they were single stocks, is among the most inefficient actions one can take on an etoro portfolio...
Everytime you open and close a copy-trade position tens of actual buy-and-sell operations are performed.
This costs you money, both in fees and market frictions, and in taxes you must pay...
Patience is key, if you are trying to get rich overnight you are on a definite path to lose a lot of money.
If you have a well diversified, cost efficient portfolio gains will materialize sooner than you think.
When you close positions at the first downturn, you are just enriching your brocker.
Be rational, and do not take actions driven by emotions.
