📊Portfolio 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙨 (all time highs)📊: 𝙔𝙏𝘿 = 27,2 % ✅ 2023 = 72,78 % ✅ 2Y Return = 91,69 % ✅ $SPX500 = 17,91 % Dear copiers and followers! I am back from vacation in beautiful Turkey and full of energy and enthusiasm for Q4. As promised in the last post I will take the next few posts to analyze earnings results of the companies in portfolio. The earnings were great and I will be very happy not to change my portfolio too much! However, there were some changes, so let's address that first. 1. We closed our $GOOGL (Alphabet Inc Class A) / $GOOG (Alphabet) position at a 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙞𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝟳1%. 💸 (we bought at an average price of 99$/share) I was very happy with the Alphabet and the results however, they lost a very important lawsuit. Probably the most important lawsuit in company history. Judge ruled that Google has an illegal monopoly over Search. It is up to the company now to find a way to restructure the company in order to satisfy the lawmakers, which is often quite difficult in these cases. As Search represents a HUGE part of Google's core business this presents a new major risk for shareholders. This changed our risk calculation and I decided there is now more downside in the stock than upside. Overall I am very happy with the trade, we almost doubled our money in 1 year - during a very volotile period for the market. 2. With the excess cash from out Google investment I decided to buy $BIL short term bonds that currently pay out more 5,4% annualy. This will provide more stability in our portfolio that can be very volotile itself considering our position in $NU (Nu Holdings Ltd.) has grown so much. 3. We finally bought $ULTA (Ulta Beauty Inc) , a stock I first posted about in early 2023. With the confidence of Warren Buffet and $BRK.B (Berkshire Hathaway Inc) buying the same stock I decided to finally buy in aswell. The company is currently trading at a very big discount and tomorrow reports earnings.
