🟢 WEEKLY UPDATE 🟢 📅 May 30, 2026 Hello to all my eToro followers and copiers! 👋 📊 Performance 🔹 Weekly Profit: +3.18% This week, markets continued their climb toward new all-time highs. Strong corporate earnings and what seems to be a never-ending AI trend continue to be among the main drivers behind the rally. Some recent inflation data came in slightly better than expected, particularly in the US, although inflation remains above central bank targets and the overall picture is still mixed. Even though it is too early to confirm a sustained normalization trend, the latest data may suggest that inflation pressures are gradually stabilizing. There are still many uncertainties, making the outlook difficult to assess with confidence, but for now the data is showing some encouraging signs. The thing I'm currently watching most closely is the upcoming Bank of Japan interest rate decision. Without going too deep into the technical details, markets are increasingly considering the possibility of another BOJ rate hike. If that happens, we could see some short-term volatility in global markets as part of the yen carry trade unwinding. That said, if such a scenario were to occur, there is a reasonable chance that the impact would be temporary and gradually absorbed by the market over time. As always, I'm not trying to predict short-term market movements, but I'm making minor adjustments to ensure the portfolio is prepared for different outcomes. One example is the recent addition of Mizuho Financial Group, which could potentially benefit from a higher-rate environment in Japan. This is not meant to alarm anyone, but rather to make you aware of a potential risk factor that investors should keep an eye on. On June 1st, I plan to add around 1.20% to the portfolio.
