Only Adam Aron can cook up such a great story. $AMC (AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc) paid approximately $27.9 million in March 2022 for 23.4 million units (shares + warrants) in Hycroft Mining. Reverse stock split 1:10 (July 2023) 23,4 million units = 2,34 million units. In December 2025, AMC sold the majority of its Hycroft investment — roughly 2.34 million HYMC shares, 1.34 million warrants, and a small number of future-vesting rights — to Sprott Mining for about $24.1 million. The transaction resulted in an aggregate net consideration of approximately $24.1 million. PAID $27.9 million in March 2022 SOLD $24.1 million in December 2025 After that sale, AMC was reported to keep around ~64 000 HYMC shares plus ~1 million warrants. If they manage to exercise those warrants at a good price, they might break even or, in the best case, beat inflation on this whole silver investment. :-) AMC has a total debt of around $8.2–$8.3 billion USD according to financial statistics at the end of 2025.
