Dear copiers / followers Today a new part of my series: 🔥MISTAKES TO AVOID WHEN COPYING🔥 👉 Part 4: NOT LOOKING AT THE HISTORY 👉 There are several points when you look at the history ✅ When did the popular investor gained the most (in % of the portfolio and copiers) ✔️ There are some long timer popular investors on Etoro, did you checked their stats ? Have you seen that some of them did made their huge profits in 2017 (bank crisis) and 2020 (corona). They started investing / making their profits when the markets were at there lowest! And now? How are the performing now? Was is a one-time only event (making dozen's percentage profits) and after that just keeping up the market? ✔️ Was there a special movement in the market that would explain a big profit? Bitcoin gained a lot until mid 2022. Where the profits made before that? Or this year, the last couple of months? ✅ Are the profits consistent? ✔️ You see some popular investors with big gains this year. What about last year? 50 % gains year is super, but a lost of 50 % in 2022 is no good. (simple calculation: 10.000$ and lost 50% = 5.000 $, then a gain of 50% which make is 7.500 $, so still a big loss ) ✔️ Is it an investor with gains 30 % one month and 30 % losses the other. Have you the stomach for this. And i don't mean the gains, but when it goes down. ✅ Have you heard this one before: Start this year to copy, don't look at the years before? (why should you?) ✅ Great having a popular investors that made 25 % profits in one month! Do you expect that it will happen the next month again? Did you start copying when this investor already made this profit!
