* The most copied Popular Investor lists :
Who is in the top-10 popular investors list for 2022 was determined on 2022-01-02.
I noted down the people found from this URL that lists all the most copied people www.etoro.com/discover/people/results?copyblock=false&hasavatar&period=OneMonthAgo&isfund=false&maxdailyriskscoremin=1&maxdailyriskscoremax=6&sort=-copiers&page=1&pagesize=20&copiersmin=100&preset=preset_one
The list does not include people who were copy blocked (e.g. due to too high an AUC) when the list is generated.
For the 2023 stats I will repopulate the list around Jan 1st 2023 with the ones that are most popular at that time.
So in 2022, I will be following who was the most copied investors, that could be copied, on 2022-01-02
The list of most copied popular investors since I started trading in may 2021 is showing the popular investors that were copyable and the most copied in may 2021.
The PI performance is measured as percentage gain over the period:
PI Performance = The product of the month performances as reported by etoro in statistics for the months in the period (((1+M1/100)*(1+M2/100)...)-1)*100)
ACWI, TLT and SPY performance is measured as the percentage change in the dividend adjusted close over the period:
((close at period end - most recent close prior to period start)/most recent close prior to period start)
Dividend adjusted ACWI, TLT and SPY prices are read from yahoo finance
Bitcoin price is measured from yahoo finance ticker BTC-USD
Gold price is measured from yahoo finance ticker GLD (GOLD tracking fund) SPDR gold ETF

SPY is included because it is my benchmark, and is just for reference. My PI account does not own SPY
For each stock, I try to calculate:
(currency adjusted and dividend adjusted) %change for the last 7 days
Currency prices and dividend adjusted prices taken from yahoo Last Friday close last weekend until This Friday close this weekend
Due to the complexity in collection of currency prices and the timing of these and potential differences between Etoro closing prices and Yahoo closing prices, the shown performances are not exact and may differ from what Etoro shows
