Today, thanks to strong moves in $BESI.NV (BE Semiconductor Industries NV) (+2,20%) , $ASML (ASML Holding NV) (+1,30%) and $AKZA.AS, (+0,94%), we broke through the $130,000 mark. (for clarity: we did not add any money) That’s worth celebrating, or not? 🥂 📈 Our YTD result is now almost +25%, more than double the $SPX500. Not so special on its own, but it is when you realize we achieved this with a risk score of just 4, and more recently even 3, while many others need a far higher risk to reach similar returns. ⚖️ That’s the power of discipline, patience, and our proven, very strict trading system. 🌍 It still surprises me how long the market keeps climbing despite all the uncertainties out there. I had expected a correction by now, and we are prepared for it with our cash position. But if markets keep rising, we’ll continue to benefit just as well. Because we keep so much cash, and markets keep rising, I decided to add 2 new companies $ISRG (Intuitive Surgical Inc) and $PYPL (PayPal Holdings) . Just a small portion to start with, giving us an opportunity to spend some of our cash. 📊 103 closed trades this month (100% green) 📊 2223 closed trades Ytd. (99% green) 🤔 Some claim to know for sure which way markets will move in the short term. I believe that if you’re honest, you admit nobody can know that with certainty. At best, you can estimate probabilities based on data and world events. The key is to always consider all scenarios — including the unexpected ones.
