𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗: 𝟭𝟱𝟬.𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗨𝗦𝗗 🎯 Today, I reached an important milestone in my quest to turn my eToro account into 1 million USD: My portfolio just crossed 150.000 USD. I am now a bit more than three years into my challenge, and I am happy to report that I am ahead of schedule. My original goal was to reach 1 million USD in slightly less than 13 years from now, and based on current progress, 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘁 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿. However, I am not adjusting the timeline. Why? Because I know that financial markets are volatile. We can expect both good and bad years going forward, giving us returns much above, and much below, my average target of around 16,5%. Being ahead now does not mean I will stay ahead. A bear market could easily put me behind schedule again, so I think my target is still a reasonable projection going forward. Historically, over the last nine years, 𝗺𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝟮𝟬,𝟰% 𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, with a decent risk of 4/10 measured on eToro's risk score. This means that I have achieved relatively high returns with a moderate level of risk. This is the balance I aim for. Success in the financial market lies not only in aiming for the highest possible returns. The main goal should be to achieve high risk-adjusted returns, which is what I have been focused on during the last few years. The path to 1 million USD 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱. There will be corrections, bear markets, and periods where it feels like we are going backwards. So, for those already copying me or considering joining, be prepared for a dynamic, sometimes turbulent stock market experience - this is what is is like to be an investor 📈📉 Also, prepare to hold on during tough times.
