I’ve just increased my position in $MSFT (Microsoft) by 0.66% of my equity as part of a portfolio rebalance. Why Microsoft? For me, $MSFT is not “Windows + Edge,” it’s an enterprise umbrella for business customers: 🤓 Roughly ¾ of Microsoft’s revenue comes from commercial/enterprise clients, not consumers. 🤓 Around a third of total revenue is from Microsoft 365 Commercial, and another ~35% from server & cloud services (Azure, etc.). 🤓 Consumer lines like Gaming, Windows and ads together are well under a quarter of the business. In my day-to-day communication with enterprise clients I see a clear trend: • More companies move from $GOOG (Alphabet) G Suite to Microsoft 365 to get e-mail, Office apps, security and collaboration under one contract. • Many enterprises now run Azure side-by-side with $AMZN (Amazon.com Inc) AWS, and some have already migrated fully to Azure, especially for AI workloads and data platforms. • I also see Azure DevOps being pushed hard as a platform, and some teams slowly shifting parts of their toolchain away from $TEAM (Atlassian Corp PLC A) Atlassian towards Microsoft’s stack. • On the collaboration side, Teams is quietly taking share from standalone tools like $ZM (Zoom Video Communications Inc) Zoom – once Microsoft 365 is already paid for, a lot of companies simply consolidate meetings, chat and telephony into Teams and cut extra licenses. My personal view on the trend: For big customers, it’s often easier to deal with one umbrella vendor that can cover productivity, identity, security, cloud, data and dev tools in a bundle. Microsoft doesn’t need to be the absolute best in every single category. Aggressive pricing, centralized licensing, integration and compliance make the full package attractive for decision makers: CIOs and CFOs. These are just my personal thoughts, not investment advice. What’s your view on $MSFT as an enterprise one-stop shop? ——— ℹ️ Disclaimer: This post reflects my personal opinions and market observations and is not financial advice. 🤝 You can start copying my trades from just 300$ - check pinned post for more details. ⚠️ Past skyrocketing gains are not a guarantee of future results.
