$BA (Boeing) shares have fallen as much as 9.8% in US premarket trading after a panel blew out on a brand-new Alaska Airlines jet mid-flight, causing $BA to temporary ground some 737 Max jets. This Incident is not particularly helpful in regards to $BA key task of ramping up production over the next 2 years as quality control could be an issue. However this may be an isolated event. Analysts at JP Morgan, Citi and Morgan Stanley have a 12 month Price target that ranges between $255-$315. Although there isn’t massive upside here, the price pressure on the stock today will entice me to buy some more $BA shares depending on where the market opens. I also hold $ALK (Alaska Air Group Inc) in my portfolio which is also experiencing pre-market price pressure. Depending on where the market opens, there may be a buy opportunity there too.
