📈 𝘞𝘌𝘌𝘒𝘓𝘌𝘠 𝘜𝘗𝘋𝘈𝘛𝘌 | Week 46 |Good Start ❗ Hello everyone, Welcome to Week 46, and I hope you’re all off to a great start! Global markets opened this week with a 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗴𝗮𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲, following news from the U.S. that lawmakers have 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻. On top of that, Donald Trump announced a kind of “𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀” of $𝟮,𝟬𝟬𝟬 for every U.S. citizen (except the ultra-rich) — a move that’s likely to boost consumption and lift market sentiment. Whatever one thinks of him personally, it’s fair to say: that’s a smart market move. 📊 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 Friday’s price action once again showed how quickly things can turn around. Despite an intraday drop of more than 2% in the $NSDQ100 the index managed to recover nearly all losses — triggered merely by early headlines hinting that the shutdown might soon be over. Now it’s official: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 Still, on a weekly basis, markets closed clearly in the red, with the $NSDQ100 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟯%. Reasons include: ➡ $PLTR (Palantir Technologies Inc.) earnings were solid, but expectations were sky-high (a forward P/E of nearly 200 doesn’t leave much room for surprises). ➡After a strong rally since “Liberation Day,” we finally saw some profit-taking. ➡Comments from OpenAI’s CFO, Sam Altman, and even the GPU man himself (Jensen Huang) suggesting possible U.S. government support for AI infrastructure also added a touch of uncertainty. → 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱: 𝗔𝗜 𝗯𝘂𝗯𝗯𝗹𝗲? That said, all this post-hoc analysis is a bit overdone. We’re still 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘀, and after months of strong performance, this is just a 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸. 🙌 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀: The𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 remains strong: ▪ Roughly 90% of the S&P 500’s market cap has reported Q3 results. ▪ 77% beat revenue and 82% beat earnings expectations. ▪ Earnings growth currently stands around +13% year-over-year, well above the initial +6–8% forecasts. 💼 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 Our portfolio has also seen some volatility recently, but we closed last Friday in the green. Year-to-date, we remain clearly ahead of the $SPX500 and even slightly ahead of the $NSDQ100 . As I always say — volatility is part of the game. You can’t outperform the market every single week, and that’s perfectly fine. What matters most is sticking to the strategy and keeping a steady hand. We haven’t made any 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆, and I’m very satisfied with the current setup. Several of our positions are already showing strong upward momentum today. Fluctuations of ±𝟭𝟬% are completely normal. For new investors or copiers, that can feel uncomfortable at first, but over time you learn to 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 — and that’s the real key to long-term success. 🗓️ 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 This week looks to be fairly quiet overall. Because of the shutdown, there’s still a lack of macro data, and the earnings season is gradually winding down. What could change quickly starting today ➡ 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁: $NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation) reports next week From our own portfolio, only $MNDY (Monday.com) is still scheduled to report this week Bottom line: After last week’s pullback, markets are already showing signs of strength again.
