Berkshire’s Latest Moves — and How I’m Following the Playbook 📈 Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway has been quietly adding to positions in UnitedHealth (UNH), Lennar (LEN), Nucor (NUE), and Chevron (CVX). At first glance, these companies seem very different… but they share a common trait: Short-term pressure, long-term strength. Many of these stocks are coming off a tough year: • $UNH (UnitedHealth) – Down over 40% this year, hit by rising medical costs and regulatory noise. • $LEN (Lennar Corp) – Struggling with high mortgage rates and slower housing demand. • NUE – Flat over the past year, lagging the S&P 500. • CVX – Positive but modest gains in a choppy energy market. Yet, if you zoom out, their track records are exceptional — decades of compounding, resilient business models, and strong fundamentals. That’s classic Buffett: buy quality when it’s under pressure. I’ve recently added UNH to my own portfolio, and it’s already moving up — helped by Berkshire’s endorsement. I also bought $CNC (Centene Corp) which is gaining alongside UNH as the healthcare sector recovers. And it’s not just healthcare making noise today — $NU (Nu Holdings Ltd.) just reported strong results and is up 10% pre-market. 🚀 I believe this combination — copying proven value plays like Berkshire’s while backing my own conviction picks — gives my portfolio both defensive resilience and growth potential. Some stocks I have in my watchlist are: Atlassian and Accenture.
