Paris La Dรฉfense Arena is a multipurpose arena in Nanterre near Paris. It opened in 2017, can hold up to 45,000 people for concerts (making it the biggest of its kind in Europe) and also hosts sports events like rugby matches with Racing 92
The transaction price hasnโt been publicly disclosed, but the deal marks a major step for ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐จ ๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ฎ๐ ๐จ๐ฐ๐ง๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ โ shifting from just producing and promoting concerts to owning a premier site outright
The acquisition is still subject to regulatory approval by Franceโs competition authority. Once complete, Live Nation plans modernization and more year-round productions to attract top global artists and increase event capacity.
