Our portfolio maintained its positive momentum from last week. Letβs take a closer look at what happened.
This week, we received PMI data from both the EU and the US, and in both cases, results exceeded expectations. Meanwhile, both core and headline CPI in the US came in below forecasts, reinforcing the idea that the FED will likely stay on the same path discussed at the last meeting, with a high probability of another rate cut ahead.
At the same time, the U.S. government shutdown continues and is now on track to become the longest in U.S. history. The overall market environment remains uncertain: despite major indices reaching new all-time highs, valuations are still elevated, even though underlying economies appear to remain solid.
Remember, we are investing for the long term, staying informed is important, but remaining on track is even more so. Donβt let short-term noise influence your long-term perspective.
