I am back from the PI summit that was held in Cyprus just over a week ago. I had an amazing time, the location was stunning and almost 30 degrees in weather made an nice change from cold and grey UK.
It was so great to reconnect with many PI's whom I had meet last year and also made many new friends. Having the opportunity to see and chat in person to the Popular Investor team and many other etoro employees was super awesome. So thank you @YoniAssia@popularinvestors & @eToroTeam for making this possible.
Markets have been in turmoil since the beginning of November due to concerns that we are in an AI bubble and also US government shut down plus news of job freezes and lack of hiring in the US has stroked fears of a slowdown.
I have been investing for a long time and I have been through many drawdowns and sell-off's, this is just part and parcel of investing. I have never exited the market doing downturns and I never tried to time the market either. Doing these things paid of big time for me as last year I achieve all my financial goals. I highly recommend my copiers to continue to focus on the longterm as that is where our profits lie.
Finally news has come out the $Tesla share holders have agreed to Elon Musk pay package of $1 Trillion by a huge majority of 75%. He has a big task ahead of him as the condition of this payout is that he must make Tesla have a market cap of $8.5 Trillion from todays $1.4 Trillion. This victory for him demonstrates how much confidence investors have in Elon's entrepreneurship and visionary ideas - which if he does will be fantastic for us shareholders.
