Cripto 2026: ¿Se nos ha roto el ciclo o solo falta gasolina?
Empiezo asumiendo mi error: 2025 no terminó con la fiesta alcista que esperaba. Ha sido un año raro donde Bitcoin rompió sus reglas cíclicas; aunque tocó máximos en octubre, cerró en rojo, rompiendo la mítica estadística de "3 años verde, 1 rojo". Lo más inquietante es el gap de producción: a los mineros les cuesta 103.000$ minar un BTC que cotiza en 90.000$. Producir a pérdidas no es propio de un final de ciclo, pero la euforia de otros años ni está ni se la espera.
¿Qué esperar de 2026? Entramos en un escenario monetario totalmente distinto. Con el fin del QT, la inyección de liquidez de la Fed y la llegada de Donald Trump con un nuevo presidente para el banco central, los catalizadores positivos sobran. Además, gigantes como Morgan Stanley ya preparan sus ETFs de Bitcoin y Solana.
Mi conclusión es clara: el mercado cripto hoy es como un coche de carreras con un motor increíble, pero sin gasolina. Tenemos los fundamentales, pero falta la liquidez y el entusiasmo para arrancar. Si no tienes prisa, el HOLD en Bitcoin sigue siendo, a largo plazo, la mejor baza mientras esperamos que la liquidez vuelva a fluir.
Le prestaría mucha atención a los avances regulatorios que pueden surgir en Estados Unidos y que pueden dar impulso a varias altcoins como Chainlink, entre otras. También está en el aire cómo quedará regulado el sector stablecoins y las remuneraciones pasivas que ofrecen estas divisas.
Nadie sabe dónde puede estar la chispa que encienda la gasolina del mercado, ni cuando llegará. Los fundamentales siguen siendo positivos y eso es muy importante. No sé ha dado un sobrecalentamiento del mercado en ningún momento, no estamos ante una tendencia agotada. Estamos ante una tendencia lateral, una posible fase de acumulación.
Si miramos algunas otras criptomonedas como Ethereum lo que observamos es que su red sigue en máximos históricos de proyectos que en ella se lanzan. Hay interés, hay utilidad. Así que, la paciencia seguirá siendo el elemento más importante en este inicio del año.
