Responsibilities Description

Leading the compliance aspects according to the local DLT regulation and according to eToro Group best practices, finance and operations activities. 

You will:  

  • Set and implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation of compliance, finance and operations activities
  • Manage and lead the Gibraltar team to provide eToroX’s compliance, finance and operations activities
  • Report to relevant stakeholders in eToro on an ongoing basis

Operations

  • Lead the local office
  • Recruit, develop and provide leadership to the local branch team
  • Define, implement and constantly improve operational processes
  • Be involved in daily processes and handle escalations when needed
  • Manage customer facing services and service providers as required


Compliance

  • Lead the design, implementation and management of the compliance procedures and controls, tools, personnel training and the internal procedures and controls in line with the Gibraltar regulatory requirements  
  • Handle all communication / reporting to the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission and other relevant offices 
  • Oversea the preparation of internal evaluation reports & handle reporting 
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of the relevant regulatory development from the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission and industry best practices in the DLT space and additional areas relevant to the Company’s business
requirements
  • A self motivated leader who can build a multi-disciplinary team in a high paced environment, building effective working relationships within a multinational environment 
  • Experienced in drafting and implementing compliance and AML/CFT policies and regulations in the financial sector industry 
  • Experienced in financial forecasting, accounting principles, and financial data analysis
  • Experienced in leading preparations for audits
  • Able to build and maintain productive business relationships with senior management, regulators, business partners and suppliers
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate responsibilities in an effective and pleasant manner
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, accounting, or related field
  • Master’s degree and/or CPA - advantage
  • 5+ years experience in a senior managerial position
  • Experience with financial companies (investment firms) - advantage
  • English - At mother tongue level
