When you deposit funds with eToro US, you are depositing funds to eToro USA LLC. When you instruct (via the trading platform) to buy a crypto asset or security, the proceeds leave your eToro USA LLC account to fund such. Proceeds to buy securities are sent to APEX Clearing Corporation, our execution, clearing and settlement broker. The proceeds will go into your personal account at APEX to fund the settlement of the buy. By selecting to BUY, you are instructing these transfers of cash to fund your purchases. When you SELL, you are instructing your settled cash to go back to your account at eToro USA LLC.

Cryptocurrencies are not stocks, and your cryptocurrency holdings at eToro USA LLC are not FDIC insured or covered by SIPC. Buying and selling cryptocurrency involves risks, including loss of principal.
