eToro Welcomes Salomon Sredni as Senior Advisor for U.S Operations

By Guy Hirsh, U.S. Managing Director

Soon we will finally be able to open our doors to the largest market in the world and provide high-quality services to the American public. We are getting closer and closer to our official launch, and we are working hard to enlist the help of some of the best and brightest minds in the industry to ensure that our US endeavours are successful. Today, we are proud to announce that Salomon (Salo) Sredni, Managing Director of Ocean Azul Partners, has joined the ranks of eToro as a Board Member and Senior Advisor for our U.S. Operations.

Here is what Salo had to say about joining eToro: “I am excited to join the eToro team as they take on the largest and most competitive market in the world. In my decades of experience with trading platforms, I’ve learned that building a unique and enjoyable user experience combined with powerful tools is crucial to winning the hearts and minds of users. eToro delivers exactly that. eToro allows users to share their trading and investing experience in a rich and collaborative environment. eToro is well-positioned to be a leader for the next generation of investors.”

As an advisor, Salo will bring decades of experience in the U.S. online trading market. Formerly, Salo served as Board Member, President, and CEO of TradeStation Group, Inc., where he led the company through its acquisition by Monex Group, Inc., one of the world’s largest retail online brokerage firms. During his time at TradeStation, Salo not only took the company public, but grew it into the seventh largest online broker in the United States. His years of experience have provided him with a unique understanding of what investors need, and where the gaps in products and services lie.

Welcome, Salo, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds.
