- Reviewing and updating compliance policies and procedures, in line with regulatory changes
- Preparing and coordinating the timely completion and filing of assigned regulatory and AML reports with the regulator
- Preparing compliance management information for the Head of Compliance, SEO, Board, and Group Senior Management, and providing input on the regulatory implications of future business strategies
- Staying up to date with regulatory developments both locally and internationally, with particular focus on FSRA policy updates, guidance from the Central Bank of the UAE, and international best practice, and escalating relevant developments
- Partnering with the company's MLRO on the review and implementation of AML/CTF policies and on oversight of the Know Your Customer (KYC) and EDD review processes.

- Developing and maintaining a positive and constructive relationship with the regulators and responding promptly to any request for information made by the FSRA or any other competent authorities of the UAE
- Delivering and coordinating compliance training across the business
- Promoting a culture of compliance among all team members and business processes
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant compliance experience in financial services, including substantial experience with ADGM/FSRA-regulated firms or another UAE/local financial services regulator; experience in a deputy or second-in-command compliance role is preferred
- Experience building and maintaining working relationships with regulators, with direct experience working with the FSRA and/or other ADGM or local UAE regulators required
- Able to advise the Board, senior management, and Group colleagues on complex regulatory issues
- Experienced in successfully managing multiple projects and competing priorities at the same time
