We are constantly growing and are excited to share that we are looking for a Tax Operations Analyst to join our team!
As a Tax Analyst, you will support the team in ensuring tax compliance and accurate reporting. This includes working closely with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of annual tax reporting, including Forms 1099, 1042-S, 8966 (FATCA), CRS, and related filings
- Help manage customer tax report requests and escalations via internal queues and vendor systems
- Support ongoing tax withholding processes — including payment calculations, reconciliations, and adjustments
- Respond to client-facing tax inquiries and support senior team members on FATCA, CRS, and Qualified Intermediary (QI) topics
- Contribute to data validation, testing, and documentation to ensure reporting accuracy
- Participate in tax projects related to crypto products (e.g., staking, forks, transfers), working cross-functionally with product and customer support teams
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date internal documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with the Tax Compliance Director and the senior analysts to ensure successful execution of the global tax compliance program
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a financial services firm, fintech, or accounting/audit environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (e.g., using vlookup, pivot tables)
- Comfortable working with data and reconciling records
- Familiarity with U.S. informational tax reporting (Forms 1099, W-8/W-9, FATCA, CRS) or a desire to learn
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
The following will be considered as an advantage:
- Experience supporting retail clients in a customer-facing or back-office capacity
- Exposure to the crypto, brokerage, or fintech industry
- Knowledge of international tax compliance frameworks is a plus
- Familiarity with blockchain transactions and their tax implications
