The Vanguard Long-Term Bond ETF is an exchange traded fund that aggregates investments in the top-performing long-term bonds. This fund was launched in 2006 and is domiciled in the United States. The Vanguard Long-Term Bond ETF looks to track the performance of the Bloomberg Barclays US long government and credit float-adjusted index. This includes investment in all medium and large-issue US government bonds, investment-grade corporate bonds, and investment-grade international dollar denominated bonds. In particular, the ETF invests in publicly-issued bonds with maturities of more than 10 years. At least 80% of assets are invested in bonds under the mentioned index.

This ETF focuses most of its investments on corporate and government bonds, and its portfolio solely consists of the United States Treasury Bonds. This fund trades on the NYSE under the BLV stock ticker.
