Vanguard Value ETF VTV

The Vanguard Value ETF aims to track the results of the CRSP US Large Cap Value Index. This index measures and includes large-capitalisation value stocks of US-based companies. Launched in January 2004, this fund is administered by the Vanguard Group Inc. and is domiciled in the United States.

Founded in 1975, the Vanguard Group is one of the largest investment management companies worldwide. As of January 2021, it manages approximately 209 US-based funds, which includes variable annuity portfolios, and 232 additional funds in non-US markets. These funds include mutual funds, exchange traded funds, and other investment services. The Vanguard Group is headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, and operates internationally. As of January 2021, the company manages $7.2tn in assets.

The Vanguard Value ETF mainly invests its assets in US-based companies on the CRSP US Large Cap Value Index. These investments are diversified and include sectors such as the financial, healthcare, industrial, telecommunications, consumer, and technology markets. Companies include Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. JPMorgan Chase & Co., UnitedHealth Group Inc., Johnson & Johnson, and Procter & Gamble Co. The Vanguard Value ETF, which uses USD as base currency, is listed on the NYSE under the VTV stock ticker.
