iShares Edge MSCI USA Momentum MTUM

iShares Edge MSCI USA Momentum, launched on 16 April 2013, is one of the exchange traded funds administered by BlackRock, Inc. This ETF follows the performance of investments in its benchmark, the MSCI USA Momentum SR Variant Index. The index comprises mid- to large-capitalisation US stocks with a somewhat higher price momentum than those in the MSCI USA Index, provided by the US investment research company MSCI, Inc. Stocks in the MSCI USA Index are traditionally weighted according to their total market capitalisation.

The fund manages risk and exposure in the allocation of stocks by investing most of its resources in securities covered by the MSCI USA Momentum SR Variant Index, and the rest of the resources in select financial derivatives such as swaps, futures, and options contracts, as well as cash and equivalents. The top sectors in which the fund operates are financials, information technology, industrials, communication, consumer discretionary, healthcare, materials, energy, consumer staples, real estate, utilities, and cash and/or derivatives. Its base currency is the US dollar.

iShares Edge MSCI USA Momentum is listed on the NASDAQ and uses the stock ticker MTUM.
