What Is Schwab US Dividend Equity ETF?

Established in 2011, the Schwab US Dividend Equity ETF seeks to track the total return of the Dow Jones US Dividend 100 Index. The fund is managed by Charles Schwab, a leading investment services firm that has been in operation since 1971 and has its headquarters in San Francisco, California. The Schwab US Dividend Equity ETF uses USD as its base currency.

The fund is designed to measure the performance of high dividend yielding stocks issued by US companies that have a record of consistently paying dividends, selected for fundamental strength relative to their peers, based on financial ratios. The fund invests at least 90% of its assets in stocks that are included in the Dow Jones US Dividend 100 Index. This ETF includes investments in a wide range of sectors, such as financial services, industrials, consumer defensive, and technology. Some of the top holdings of this ETF include United Parcel Service Inc Class B, PepsiCo Inc, Qualcomm Inc, BlackRock Inc, and 3M Co.
