What Is First Trust Cloud Computing?
First Trust Cloud Computing is an exchange traded fund that the ISE CTA Cloud Computing Index. This equity index is a modified equal weighted index designed to track the performance of companies involved in the cloud computing industry. First Trust Cloud Computing is administered by First Trust Portfolios L.P., which is headquartered in Wheaton, Illinois. The fund was created on 5 July 2011.

To be included in the index, a security must be classified as a Cloud Computing company by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and have a minimum market capitalisation of $500m, a minimum free float of 20% and a minimum three-month average daily dollar trading volume (ADDTV) of $5m. The fund will invest at least 90% of its assets in common stocks and depository receipts included in the index.

On 24 June, 2019, the index that First Trust Cloud Computing seeks to track changed its name from ISE Cloud Computing™ Index to ISE CTA Cloud Computing Index™. It trades on the NASDAQ, where it is listed under the ticker SKYY. The fund uses a base currency of USD.
