AAC Technologies was founded in 1993 and is a global solutions provider for smart devices. The company engages in the research, development and manufacture of various solutions that enhance the user experience of these devices. AAC Technologies products are available in a range of smartphones and portable electronic devices.

The company operates through four main business segments: Acoustics, Optics, Electromagnetic Drives and Precision Mechanics, and Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems. The company has R&D Centers in China, Denmark, Finland, Japan, Singapore, and the US,
Company factories are located in China, the Philippines and Vietnam and it has sales offices all over the world. The company also works closely with raw material suppliers, partners (for chips, Smart PA, Driver IC and sensors), and software and algorithm companies.

In 2016, AAC Technologies joined the Hang Seng Index and became a blue chip stock company.
