One of the most successful civil engineering companies in all of Europe, Eiffage was founded in 1992 as a result of a multi-company merger. Eiffage’s headquarters are located in Asnières-sur-Seine, France. However, the company also maintains several regional offices around the world in Canada, Colombia, Germany, and Spain. Eiffage is heavily involved in all aspects of construction and engineering, providing additional services such as demolitions, earthworks, energy, real estate and more.
Eiffage is available for trade on the Euronext Paris. The company went public in 1999, trading as FGR.PA. It is not known how much capital Eiffage raised during its IPO, since the company was unwilling to disclose such information. Eiffage stock is also part of the CAC Next 20 Component.
In addition to its heavy involvement in the British HS2, Eiffage is credited with some of the most important constructions works in all of Europe over the last several decades. It is responsible for the Channel Tunnel, the Copenhagen Metro, a suspension bridge in Southern France called Millau Viaduct, and a high-speed railway which runs from Spain to France called TGV Perpignan-Figueres.
