ASML Holding NV was founded in 1984 and is headquartered in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. The company offers innovative solutions to the semiconductor industry and provides a holistic approach to the mass production of patterns on silicon.

ASML Holding NV is the world’s only manufacturer of lithography machines that use extreme ultraviolet light. Company products include deep ultraviolet immersion systems, dry systems, optical metrology solutions, E-beam metrology and inspection solutions, and more.

The company employs more than 23,000 people of 123 nationalities in approximately 60 locations in 16 countries across Asia, Europe, and the US. Positions include more than 5,000 customer support representatives, including expert service engineers and applications specialists.

In 1995, ASML became a public company and was listed on the Amsterdam and New York stock exchanges. In 2018, ASML Holding reported €10.9 billion in net sales and a net income of €2.6 billion.
