Community Health Systems, Inc. operates outpatient facilities and acute care hospitals within the United States. Founded in 1985, Community Health Systems has its headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee.

Services offered by Community Health Systems include general acute care, critical care, obstetrics, general and specialty surgery, internal medicine, and diagnostic, psychiatric, emergency room, and rehabilitation services. Its affiliated hospitals make significant investments in healthcare services, facility improvements, physician recruitment, and modern medical technology. The company also offers additional outpatient services through primary care practices, urgent care centres, ambulatory surgery centres, free-standing emergency departments, imaging and diagnostic centres, cancer centres, retail clinics, and virtual health visits.
