iShares Fallen Angels USD Bond ETF FALN

iShares Fallen Angels USD Bond ETF provides exposure to a selection of high yield bonds that had previously been rated investment grade. Managed by iShares, a division of Blackrock Financial Management, this ETF was established in 2016.

The iShares Fallen Angels USD Bond ETF fund’s primary goal is to provide investment results that mirror the performance of the Bloomberg US High Yield Fallen Angel 3% Capped Index. This index aims to measure the performance of US dollar-denominated, high yield corporate bonds that had previously been rated investment grade. The fund will invest at least 80% of its assets in securities listed on the index. The base currency of this fund is USD.

As of 6 September 2022, this ETF had total net assets of $2.41bn and held 260 investments. This fund includes investments in bonds issued by companies primarily in the consumer cyclical, energy and communications sectors. As of 5 September 2022, some of the fund’s top holdings included securities issued by Howmet Aerospace, Service Properties Trust, Telecom Italia, Apache, Western Midstream, Sprint, Newell Brands and Las Vegas Sands.
