View AllAbout Aramco Saudi Arabian Oil Corp
Saudi Aramco is the world’s largest energy provider and one of the most valuable companies in the world. Aramco is almost twice as large as tech giants Apple and Microsoft. Previously privately owned by the Saudi Government, Aramco went public in December 2019 in one of the largest IPOs in history.
As the sole owner of Saudi Arabia’s oil fields, Aramco sits on one of the largest oil stockpiles in the world, which is 10 times larger than the entire United States’ oil supply. In addition, Aramco is the owner of a massive natural gas field, making it the world’s largest integrated oil and gas company. Saudi Aramco was founded in 1933 and renamed in 1988. It is considered the most profitable company in the world, and its net income supersedes that of Apple, Google and Exxon Mobil combined.
Since all of its earnings come from oil and natural gas, the Saudi Aramco chart can be influenced by fluctuations in global oil and NATGAS prices. In addition, it may also be impacted by political factors, as the Saudi Government is still the majority stakeholder in the company.
